This pert little pair of chickadees seemed appropriate as a celebration of Valentine's Day! They also seem like they might be a lovely couple to carve. They're such cuties!
And for those of us without a sweetheart with whom to celebrate Valentine's Day, happy one month until Pi Day! There's always something to celebrate!! :)

I love chickadees. When I lived in NH, they would eat out of my hand.
We still do that with the chickadees down at the family property. A great cloud of them comes flying in whenever we show up at the barn to do our chores. We have to make sure to keep the doors closed, or they'll follow us in and have a hard time finding their way back out again!
