A New Fable

It's not quite the same as the tortoise and the hare -- but it sure is cute.  And yes, the turtle got a peach.

I took this picture through the basement window, so that I wouldn't startle the doe.  She got up after a couple shots, anyway, so this isn't the best photo ever.  I had to share anyway, though.  :)

Although I don't always post a reply, I have to say that I absolutely love your pictures and your commentaries to go with them. You are so fortunate to have nature so near you, and I am so glad you appreciate it so much and share it with all of us out here somewhere. Your photography skills are amazing. I am often in wonder as to how you get the shots you do. Please keep up the good work. Your postings are very uplifting and always inspire me. Thanks!!!

Thank you so much, Sahalie! I really appreciate your comment and am always encouraged when something strikes a chord with someone! I enjoy the simple delights right outside my door (or window)every day. It's fun to share my discoveries and it is great to know that someone out there enjoys them, too. :)

Oh, yes it it! I'm stuck somewhere between awe and joyful giggle. And that's a pretty good place to be!
