Happy New Year!

Things have been chaotic around here, as you might imagine! Some things, however, don't change.

I'm still watching the birds, but from the bountiful banister buffet at my sister's house and walks around her neighborhood with Piper.

I hope 2026 is as delightful as this titmouse enjoying the fattest peanut it could find along the rail.

Wishing you all a happy, healthy, and prosperous year!

And I'll try to be a little better about posting from time to time! :)

Oh, am I so happy to see this post!!!!!!!!!!

Long walks, short with all the snow you have been getting and the winds to go with it (oh and ice!!) are so therapeutic and mind clearing. (was in your area over the weekend, but weather kept me from venturing another hour north. we had several tree falls on the trip there. With one completely over both lanes of the road on 115. Had to wait for peeps to move it off the road.)

thanks for the birds ;)

Hi, BetsyLee! I hope you're doing well, too. Piper and I are soldiering on with all the upheaval and endless paperwork. Paperwork is my favorite thing, after all! I can only think of a zillion things I'd rather be doing. ;) Hugs right back to you!

Hi, Sheila! The wind has been brutal! I'd love to be able to take Piper out for a nice, long run - she needs it (and so do I). And yes, we've been worried about the trees between the ice and the wind. We're supposed to get a little break in a couple days, though, so I'm hoping for the best!! :)
