I Swear, It was This Big!

Here are a couple more  trail camera captures from out on the family property. I love these, because they're such candid shots!

This turkey looks like it's telling a very tall tale, standing on tiptoe and reaching as far as its wings will allow. "Honestly, it was huge! Like, this big!"

This fellow managed to time his step in front of the lens for a perfect close-up. The red on his head against the backdrop of snow created a very dramatic contrast.

What a great turkey photo, it does look like he's telling a story. I never got any really interesting pics from my game cam, just a bunch of stupid raccoons robbing my feeders night after night, or the tail of something passing by. Maybe I'll try again, but in the meantime, thanks for sharing your good 'captures'. :^)

Hugs to ya, from BetsyLee

Oh, I love that photo. I was real hesitant to open up the blog. I was so afraid I was going to see a spider pic. I was reading before scrolling to see pictures. It could have been anything but a spider and it would have made my day.

I hate watching Survivor and then they pop up a spider pic, or Ryan posts one on walking4fun.........not so fun!!!

Well, the trail camera pictures are even more spotty than my own. Hundreds of pictures are rejects and then there's a cool one. :) Hugs to you, too!

You made me laugh, Sheila! My sister-in-law is the same way about snakes. I will not be sending her my Lunar New Year carving this year -- it's the year of the Green Wood Snake! (My carving is going to be more cartoon than realistic, but she still would hate it!)
